Traffic Update- New Cobden Road, Lorne Street, Grey Street
Greater Sudbury will see some traffic tie-ups over the next week.
First, due to railway repairs New Cobden Road at the CP railway tracks will be closed Thursday, August 10, Friday, August 11 and Tuesday, August 15, 2017. Motorists are asked to detour via Highway 144, Gordon Lake Road and Simmons Road. Detour signs will be in place.
Next, storm sewer upgrades and roadway excavations will close the intersection of Lorne Street at Bulmer Avenue on Friday, August 11 to Friday, August 18, 2017. Motorists are asked to detour via Gutcher Avenue and Irving Street. Detour signs will be in place.
Lastly, the annual Craft Beer Festival will close the south part of Grey Street from Elgin Street to 19 Grey Street from 11 a.m. on Friday, August 11 to 4 a.m. on Saturday, August 12, 2017. Detours signs will be in place.
