Province Providing Midwives for Aboriginals
The province is providing money to aboriginal communities across Ontario to support health care for those community’s.
The Shkagamik-Kwe Heath Centre on Applegrove Street will be getting two registered midwives to provide culturally appropriate child and maternity care for up to 40 Indigenous women and their children over the next three years.
