Did you know that you have to claim the profit you made on your house sale on your 2016 tax return?
That’s one of the many changes that have been added to this year’s tax forms.
Odds are that you won’t have to pay income taxes on the profit you made however it will depend on how much of a profit it ended up being for you.
If you’ve already filed your taxes and haven’t claimed the money you made on your house sale, no worries, you can file an amendment.
April 30th is the deadline to file your taxes.
